Oyster Bay Kitchen Gets Fast Water Damage Mitigation

A dishwasher in this Oyster Bay home dumped a large amount of water damage on the floor. SERVPRO technicians removed the dishwasher to extract the water and position air movers to dry the interior. Seepage occurred into the subfloor, and the techs removed the floor tiles to expose the substrate for complete drying. The cabinet toe kicks did not need removal during the drying phase of the restoration services. The techs used their moisture detection equipment to determine the scope of the water migration under the flooring and only removed the tile with a collection of moisture underneath. The rest got left intact to minimize the repairs needed for the replacement of the flooring.
