Ceiling Damage from a Water Leak in Oyster Bay
The Before Photo depicts the water damaged ceiling in this Oyster Bay home. The sheetrock panels are a hazard, and our team of SERVPRO WRT water damage restoration technicians quickly removed the hanging materials before any injury could occur. We fixed the leak in the pex pipe, removed some soaked pink insulation, and dried the attic crawl with several air movers and a dehumidifier. We contained the area with 6-mil polypropylene sheeting as shown in the After Photo. We performed a careful, controlled demolition to limit the replacement material needed, and also the labor for the build back. In several days our customer can safely say that it feels, "Like it never even happened."
